Mark Edwards is the Senior Director of Supply Chain Management for Sangamo Therapeutics, where he is responsible for ensuring that a steady and reliable supply of materials and finished products are flowing to Sangamo manufacturing sites and patients across Europe. Based in the UK, he has spent 35 years in technical operations, logistics, project management and supply chain roles driving process improvement, costs reductions and building high performing teams. His last 16 years have been directly involved in Biologics and Cell and Gene Therapy products, covering the full scope of Supply Chain including planning, new product launch, vendor management and global material movements. Having lived and worked in 6 different countries Mark enjoys restoring vintage objects, travel, history, classic cars, riding motorcycles and long walks with his dog.
